 Mastoplexia, or surgical operation on a breast tightening is recommended to women with expressed ptosis (greek. Ptosis – lowered) mammary glands which results from a considerable quantity of the reasons.
Sagging of mammary glands is most frequently observed:
- After feeding by a breast;
- Because of strong increase in volume of a breast in the course of pregnancy and a lactation (strongly stretched skin can't be reduced adequately therefore arises ptosis);
- After sharp growing thin or active playing sports for the purpose of weight reduction;
- Age ptos of mammary glands is a result of decrease in elasticity of a skin.
Mastoplexia promotes considerable improvement of the breast form by surgical d-bridement of skin in the field of the bottom part of a mammary gland and fixing of a gland tissue at higher level. Thus the initial volume of a breast doesn't change.
Elimination of ptosis mammary glands by performing an implantation of outer prosthetic appliances for breasts is still possible. This plastic operation gives the chance not only to increase breast volume, but also to avoid superfluous cuts of a skin as well as postoperative hems.
